 Internet Explorer X:

Open Internet Explorer program then go to Tools > Internet options.
In the General window type the IDM Home page address: http://www.idm.net.lb.
Go to Connection, select the IDM connection in the "Dial up settings" then click "settings".
Make sure that "Automatically detect settings", "use automatic configuration script" and "use proxy server" are unchecked.
Click on OK to close all the windows.

Outlook Express

Open Outlook express then go to Tool, Accounts, and Mail.
If it's the first time you are configuring your account, click on the Add Button and Choose Mail.
In the display name field type your Name (example: John Smith) and click on Next.
In the Internet mail Field, check " I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use", type your IDM e-mail (example: Jsmith@idm.net.lb) and click on Next.
The Incoming mail server should be a POP3 server.
The incoming mail server: pop.idm.net.lb
The outgoing mail server: smtp.idm.net.lb
Click on Next.
In the account name write your IDM User Name & in the password field your e-mail Password.
Make sure that the: "Log on secure password Authentication (SPA)" is unchecked, and click on Next.
You Have Successfully created your E-mail account; to save these settings click Finish.

Netscape Communicator 6.x 7.x

Proxy settings:

Go to Edit, preferences.
Double click on Advanced and select proxy.
Click on: direct connection to the Internet.

Mail Server settings:

Go to Tasks, Mail.
When the messenger window open, Click on Edit and select: " mail/ news account settings".
Select the outgoing server (SMTP).
Type in the server name: smtp.idm.net.lb
Click on New account, select ISP or mail provider then click on Next.
Type your Name and your e-mail address in the required field and continue.
Select the POP, write in the Name server field: pop.idm.net.lb and continue.
Type your IDM user name and click next till the end
