Connection Mac- FreePPP
Open FreePPP Setup

Open the FreePPP setup either from the FreePPP icon in the menu bar or directly by launching the application in the FreePPP or Internet Applications folder.
Open The Account Configuration
Click on the "drilldown" icon to open up the full main configuration screen.
The icon will change to (down arrow) and the screen will expand. Click on General and the screen below will appear. Then click on the Untitled account selection (unlike the diagram) and click Edit...

Configure Your Account

Enter your account information like the screen shown below. The User and Password are case sensitive.

Configure Your Connection

For most modems you should enter your information: port speed should be at least 38400 bps (it depends on your modem type and speed), flow control should be CTS & RTS (DTR)

P.S: Only the more unusual modems (GeoPorts, older Teleports and Express Modems) require the flow control set to None.

Click on the OK button to close this dialog. Click on General to return to the main FreePPP menu.
Set Up Your Modem
From the main FreePPP screen click on Modem Setup. We suggest turning the Modem speaker on while connecting to hear if the modem is dialing properly.
Click on OK to close this dialog and you are ready to try your connection. Click on the Connect button and the modem should dial and connect to our server. You should then be logged in automatically. After the connection is made you can then run any TCP/IP application such as Browser, email etc.

Note: Like on windows 9X a dialup connection can be accomplished by simply running the application you wish to use (eg. Eudora or Explorer). They will open FreePPP automatically. However you need to use FreePPP to log off- either select Close PPP Session from the menu (in the upper right of the menubar) or launch the FreePPP Setup application as you would any other and click on Disconnect.

FreePPP 2.5 comes with AppleGuide help! System 7.5x users can find a great deal of help from the help menu (that question mark in the upper right corner of your screen).
