NEW FLAT RATE from OGERO
We are glad to announce to you that Ministry of Post &
Telecommunications (MPT) will start implementing the new flat rate
dial-up access starting the beginning of the month of February.
The flat rate allows you to save on your phone bill while using it
for the Internet access. We will further explain to you how.
In order to benefit from the flat rate, the Internet subscriber has
to dial a 4-digit number. For IDM we have two 4-digit numbers: 1678
for the unlimited regular, and 1679 for the unlimited 56K (DigiPro).
While connecting to the Internet, and depending on the type of your
subscription, please dial any one of these numbers. If you dial any
other access number, you will be charged the regular rate and you
will not benefit from the reduced rates.
The flat rate of the MPT will be charged as follows:

IDM,
and in order to allow you to better monitor your usage, have
provided you with an online tool allowing you to check the number of
hours / minutes used within a month. We invite you to check this
tool as of right now in order to figure out your consumption for the
past few months. This tool can be accessed by going to our web site
http://www.idm.net.lb
and then going to My Account, and the Account Management . Please
enter your username & password and the required month. The system
will display to you online the total number of connection hours /
minutes per month.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in case you
dial the old numbers other than the 4-digit number, you will
be charged according to the regular rate.
Also, please pay extra attention in case your dial-up connection is
configured to dial automatically. In this case, you need to access
this program and to change the number that you dial, and replace by
the 4-digit number: 1678 or 1679.
We will be soon introducing new Internet packages to go along the
new flat rates from MPT.
